Forza Horizon 6 drops 10 free cars in new four-week series

Playground Games is rolling out a fresh batch of collectible vehicles for Forza Horizon 6, with ten cars confirmed as free rewards across the upcoming Horizon Playlist Series 2. The event runs from June 18 through July 16 under the banner 'Horizon Decades,' testing players' ability to rack up points during seasonal challenges.

The lineup spans multiple automotive eras and disciplines. Players can earn a 1989 Volkswagen Rallye Golf and 1998 TVR Cerbera Speed 12 as 20-point rewards, while higher-tier cars like the 1988 Lamborghini Countach LP5000 QV and 1993 Schuppan 962CR demand 40 points each. Truck enthusiasts can grab a 2006 Dodge Ram SRT-10 and 2003 Ford F-150 SVT, along with contemporary supercars including a 2017 Mercedes-AMG GT R and 2017 Saleen S7 LM.

The most exclusive rewards carry steeper point thresholds. A 1993 Porsche 911 Turbo S Leichtbau requires 80 points accumulated across the entire series window, while a 2018 Lotus Exige Cup 430 tops the list at 160 points. Players who grind through all four seasonal challenges have the best shot at collecting everything.

Some of these vehicles are recycled from the first Playlist iteration. The Countach, 962CR, F-150, and S7 LM all appeared as Series 1 rewards, meaning established players likely already own them. For those who missed the initial rollout, the second run offers a convenient second chance to fill garage gaps.

Beyond the confirmed ten cars, Playground has hinted that additional vehicles may arrive unannounced. Series 1 introduced mystery cars beyond its published list, setting a precedent that suggests more content could surface as the event unfolds.

The update also introduces a new open-world venue: a Car Meet hub at the Hokubu Time Attack Circuit, giving players fresh gathering space and presumably new activities tied to the seasonal structure.

Looking ahead, Playground has already teased Series 3, dubbed 'Italian Exotics,' which will pair themed seasonal challenges with the Italian Passion Car Pack. Players holding the game's Premium Edition receive the pack at no cost, while standard edition owners can purchase it separately.

Author Emily Chen: "A solid refresh for the grind-and-collect crowd, though watching the same cars rotate back so quickly feels a little lazy on Playground's part."
