2K Games is pulling the plug on Lego 2K Drive starting next week. The brick-based racing game will be delisted from digital storefronts on May 19, 2026, according to notices posted on Steam, Xbox, and PlayStation Store pages.
Players still have until next Tuesday to purchase the title digitally, after which it will no longer be available for new buys. However, anyone who already owns the game can continue playing and redownloading it indefinitely. The real blow comes later: multiplayer servers will shut down on May 31, 2027, disabling all online features tied to the game.
Lego 2K Drive launched in May 2023 across PC, Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. The game invites players into Bricklandia, an open world where they race, build custom vehicles piece by piece, and tackle story mode challenges. The core appeal centers on its vehicle creation system, which lets players construct cars from individual bricks before taking them out on diverse terrain ranging from racetracks to off-road areas and water.
For those interested in grabbing the game before the delisting, it's currently priced at $19.99.
The delisting marks another casualty in an industry pattern that has frustrated players worldwide. The Stop Killing Games movement, which campaigns against the removal of digital titles, crossed 1 million signatures last year in response to similar publisher decisions. While offline play will remain available for existing owners of Lego 2K Drive, the loss of multiplayer connectivity effectively ends the game's social features.
