Xbox Returns to IGN Live for Third Year Running

Xbox is bringing its showcase back to IGN Live this June, marking the third consecutive year the gaming giant will participate in the annual event. On June 7, 2026, attendees will gather at the Magic Box at the Reef in downtown Los Angeles to watch the Xbox Games Showcase and the Gears of War: E-Day Direct alongside hundreds of other gamers and fans.

The two-day festival runs June 6 through 7, with tickets now available for both VIP and single-day passes. For those unable to travel to Los Angeles, IGN Live will stream globally across IGN.com, YouTube, Facebook, Twitch, and X, ensuring the event reaches audiences worldwide.

Beyond Xbox, the event has secured partnerships with major publishers and entertainment studios. Ubisoft will showcase Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced, while Critical Role, Titmouse, and Prime Video will premiere The Legend of Vox Machina Season 4. 2K and FuturLab will demonstrate PowerWash Simulator 2, with additional partners confirmed for the show.

The Los Angeles experience offers hands-on access that streaming cannot replicate. Attendees will be able to play demos including Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game and Screenbound Tanuki Pon's Summer. ID@Xbox will once again highlight independent and anticipated indie titles throughout the showcase, giving smaller developers stage time alongside major releases.

IGN Live's main stage promises an ambitious production schedule. New trailers, exclusive gameplay footage, and unreleased clips will debut live, alongside major interviews with industry figures. A live DJ, celebrity panels, gaming tournaments, and thousands of giveaways will fill the floor. The event will also feature photo opportunities, exclusive merchandise, gaming stations, lounges, live episodes of IGN original shows, food vendors, and multiple screening areas.

This year's event format reflects IGN's push toward experiential gaming coverage, blending traditional showcase presentations with interactive elements designed to engage both attendees and global streaming audiences simultaneously.

Author Emily Chen: "Xbox's third straight appearance signals real commitment to IGN Live, but the real story is how the platform keeps showing up to support its indie partners through ID@Xbox."
