Microsoft is loading up Xbox Game Pass with a substantial spring lineup, mixing day-one indie debuts with major franchise revivals across late April and early May. The batch includes five new games launching simultaneously with their commercial releases, along with established titles making their subscription debut.
The roster kicks off April 21 with two games expanding their Game Pass reach. Little Rocket Lab, a cozy machine-building RPG, and Stolen Potato, an emotional narrative adventure, both arrive on Game Pass Premium after already residing in Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. That same day marks the subscription debut of Vampire Crawlers: The Turbo Wildcard, a spinoff from the hit roguelike Vampire Survivors, arriving day one across Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and cloud versions on Xbox Series X|S and handheld devices.
Double Fine's Kiln follows three days later on April 23. The studio known for Psychonauts describes this release as a "pottery power-fantasy celebrating both creativity and destruction." It launches as a day-one Game Pass title across cloud, console, handheld, and PC platforms, marking another expected Microsoft-backed release hitting the service immediately.
The momentum continues through late April with Aphelion arriving April 28. Developed by Don't Nod, the team behind Jusant and Lost Records, this third-person sci-fi adventure draws on real-world science developed in partnership with the European Space Agency. The game lands day one on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.
April 29 brings Trepang2, a gory first-person shooter landing on Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, and PC Game Pass with cloud support. The final April push on April 30 introduces three titles simultaneously. Heroes of Might & Magic: Olden Era arrives in Game Preview mode as a day-one exclusive on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. Sledding Game, also in Game Preview, joins Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. TerraTech Legion rounds out the trio, available across multiple Game Pass tiers with cloud and console options.
The spring window concludes May 5 with Final Fantasy V, the landmark 1992 SNES RPG, joining Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, and PC Game Pass across all major platforms.
The expansion comes with a significant caveat. Microsoft is removing nine titles from the service on April 30, including Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, Hunt Showdown 1896, and the Goat Simulator pair. Subscribers can purchase departing games at a 20 percent discount before they vanish.
