The superhero workplace comedy Dispatch is coming to Xbox on July 29, marking its arrival on Microsoft's platform nearly a year after debuting elsewhere. AdHoc Studio confirmed the launch date, and the title is already available to wishlist on the Xbox Store.

The game has taken a winding path to console releases. It launched episodically on PC and PlayStation 5 starting in October, followed by a Switch 2 port in January. That Switch version ran into trouble when unexpected censorship was applied at the last minute, though a subsequent patch addressed most of the concerns. Microsoft's Xbox release will arrive uncensored from day one.

Dispatch carries the DNA of classic Telltale Games titles. The development team includes veterans from The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us, though AdHoc Studio is handling this project independently. The game positions itself as a spiritual successor to the narrative-driven adventures that defined Telltale's run in the 2010s, blending television storytelling with player agency.

There's no confirmation yet on Game Pass availability, though the Xbox launch was first announced during March's Xbox Partner Preview showcase. Word on whether the Xbox version will release all chapters at once or in episodic chunks hasn't been provided.
