Free Loot Alert: How to Grab Keys and Weapon Wraps in RIVALS Right Now

Roblox's RIVALS first-person shooter is dropping fresh cosmetics through redemption codes, and players can snag keys and random weapon wraps without spending a dime. The active codes as of mid-June include several options for beefing up your loadout with minimal effort.

The newest code, FREE179, awards three keys to players who enter it. Other working codes include COMMUNITY23, which delivers a randomized community weapon wrap, plus BONUS and BOOST, each granting a single key. Players who haven't tried roblox_rtc should grab it for five keys. One code, ELBILLUG, exists in the system but yields nothing when redeemed.

Getting these rewards requires a few steps inside the game client. After launching RIVALS, you'll need to progress until a red shopping basket icon appears at the bottom of your screen, typically around level 6. From there, tap the basket to access the shop, then navigate to the codes section by clicking More and selecting Codes from the menu tabs.

Before you can input any codes, the game requires you to either follow the RIVALS creators on X or type in the official handle @NosniyGames. If you've already followed them elsewhere, you'll enter your own username instead. Once that's done, paste your chosen code into the input field and hit Redeem.

The downside: codes don't come with published expiration dates, meaning previously active ones can stop working without warning. A long list of expired codes stretches back through the year, including FREE178, COMMUNITY22, and MERRYMERRYXMAS from the holiday season.

Players who spot new codes or discover that existing ones have stopped working can report them directly to the RIVALS team. The game updates its code pool regularly, so checking back for fresh releases is worth the effort if you're hunting for more keys or cosmetics.

Author Emily Chen: "Free cosmetics in competitive shooters are always a win, but that redemption process feels unnecessarily gatekeepy."
