Kingdom Hearts Collection 1-3 Opens Preorders Ahead of October Release

The Kingdom Hearts Collection 1-3 is now available to preorder across multiple platforms, with the bundle arriving October 8. The announcement came during June's Nintendo Direct, which also teased Kingdom Hearts 4 to the surprise of franchise followers.

The collection bundles three titles: Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, and Kingdom Hearts 3 plus its Re Mind DLC. Players can grab the package for $74.99 in physical or digital formats depending on their platform of choice.

Physical copies are available for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2, with the Switch version arriving as a Game-Key Card that requires download to the console. Best Buy and GameStop both stock the standard physical edition. Digital versions are offered through the PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, and Nintendo eShop at the same $74.99 price point.

Amazon offers an exclusive physical edition bundled with a double-sided poster, priced identically to standard editions. This exclusive version is limited to PS5 and Switch 2.

PC gamers have an alternative: Kingdom Hearts Integrum Masterpiece, available now on Steam. That version carries a higher price tag of $99.99 compared to the console collections.

Every purchase comes with a platform-exclusive Keyblade. PlayStation buyers receive "Midnight Blue," Xbox players get "Phantom Green," Steam users obtain "Dead of Night," and Switch owners unlock "Long Night." Players who preorder digitally through PlayStation or Xbox will also gain 48 hours of early access before the official October 8 launch.

Author Emily Chen: "This collection arrives at the perfect moment for fans hungry to replay the entire saga before Kingdom Hearts 4 finally lands, though that release date still remains a mystery."
