Persona 4 Revival locked for February 2027, pre-orders now live

Atlus confirmed the long-awaited release date for Persona 4 Revival during the Xbox Games Showcase 2026, setting the remake for February 18, 2027 across PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X and S.

The announcement came with an extended gameplay look that showcased the visual overhaul Atlus has applied to the nearly two-decade-old original. The studio has modernized the UI, battle system, and event sequences while keeping the core story and characters intact. An official description positioned the remake as welcoming to new players while offering enough refresh to interest longtime fans of the franchise.

Pre-orders opened immediately on Xbox platforms, with three pricing tiers available: standard at $69.99, deluxe at $84.99, and premium at $99.99. Steam and PlayStation 5 pre-orders become available on June 8. The game will also launch on Xbox Game Pass.

Atlus has been minimal with public details since the project was first revealed at last year's showcase. The release date lock should open the door for more information in the coming months as February approaches.

Author Emily Chen: "A 2027 launch still feels distant, but confirming the date and dropping pre-orders signals Atlus is ready to stop stalling and actually deliver on this one."
