Best Buy's daily deals are back with another round of discounts on Magic: The Gathering products, undercutting typical retail prices across multiple recent sets and gaming accessories.
The biggest savings come on sealed products. A Play Booster box for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is down $70 to $129.99, bringing the per-pack cost to $4.33. The set's Draft Night box, which includes a Collector Booster, has dropped $40 to $89.99. Players looking for the co-op game experience can grab the Turtles Team-Up for $34.99, down $15 from its standard price.
Lorwyn Eclipsed is seeing Commander precon discounts of $20 each, bringing both Blight Curse and Dance of the Elements down to $31.99. The set's Standard-focused theme decks are half off at $11.99 each, though buyers won't be able to choose which one they receive. Secrets of Strixhaven theme decks are marked to the same $11.99 price point.
The Avatar: The Last Airbender Beginner Box for 2025 is $12 cheaper at $22.99. Marvel's Spider-Man Play Booster box offers 30 packs for $114.99 after a $75 reduction.
Beyond sealed product, Best Buy is heavily discounting gaming accessories. Ultra Pro playmats featuring Final Fantasy art are on sale, with some dropping to $12. The double-sided mat showing Clive and Ifrit from Final Fantasy XVI is at $19.99, representing a 50 percent markdown. Other Final Fantasy options including the Traveling Chocobo, Cloud Ex-Soldier, and Y'Shtola Night's Blessed variants are also discounted.
This marks the second major Magic sale Best Buy has run in recent weeks, suggesting the retailer is moving aggressively to clear inventory across both the latest releases and established Universes Beyond crossover sets.
Author Emily Chen: "Best Buy timing these back-to-back MTG sales makes financial sense for them, but it's a reminder to collectors and players that waiting for a deal has become the smarter play than buying at standard retail."
