LEGO Batman Sets Now Unlock Exclusive Vehicles in New Game

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight pulls from across the entire Dark Knight film legacy, and the game's vehicle roster reflects that sweeping approach. Four physical LEGO sets tie directly into the game, each unlocking a corresponding Batmobile with exclusive cosmetic variants that you cannot obtain through regular gameplay.

The redemption process is straightforward. After purchasing one of the compatible sets, scan the QR code printed on the instruction booklet cover. You'll log into your LEGO Insiders account, redeem the purchase for points, and receive a one-time digital code. Enter that code on the game's title screen under the Redeem Code option, and the vehicle becomes yours. One important caveat: the game's lengthy opening Prologue sequence, set during Batman's training with R'as al Ghul, locks out all digital unlockables. You'll gain access to your redeemed items once Chapter 1 begins.

The LEGO DC Batman: Batman Logo set is a 674-piece anniversary tribute to two decades of LEGO Batman. The displayable logo features detailed texturing throughout. Redeeming this set unlocks a commemorative gold Batman minifigure as an exclusive costume option in the game.

The Ben Affleck-era Batmobile from LEGO DC Batman: Batman v Superman stands out for its armor-plated design and grey color scheme. The physical build is loaded with intricate attachments and detail work. In the game, the standard version costs 45,000 studs to purchase, making the physical set purchase essentially a free early unlock. The gold variant, however, remains exclusive to owners of the real set.

The Robert Pattinson-era Batmobile is the largest of the three completed sets at 330 pieces and takes a more grounded approach than its comic-book-inspired counterparts. It resembles a heavily modified street car rather than a fantastical vehicle. The standard in-game version unlocks automatically after the tutorial period at no cost, but again, the gold cosmetic variant is locked behind the physical purchase.

The George Clooney-era vehicle embraces director Joel Schumacher's theatrical aesthetic with dramatic oversized fins and blood-red trim. It's the sleekest of the three builds. The standard digital model costs 50,000 studs in-game, making the physical set a shortcut to that unlock. The gold variant remains exclusive to the physical set purchase.

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is currently available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, with a Nintendo Switch 2 launch planned for later this year.

Author Emily Chen: "The physical tie-in is a solid incentive, but the gold cosmetics alone aren't game-changers, the real draw is the streamlined early access for collectors who want the full roster without grinding studs."
