Warhammer's biggest gaming event is coming Thursday, bringing a slate of new trailers, updates, and announcements across multiple franchises and developers. Warhammer Skulls marks its 10th anniversary this week with roughly 50 minutes of reveals that fans of the tabletop universe's video game adaptations won't want to miss.
The showcase kicks off Thursday, May 21 at 5 p.m. BST. That translates to noon Eastern, 11 a.m. Central, and 9 a.m. Pacific. IGN will stream the entire event live across its homepage, Facebook, Twitter, Twitch, and YouTube channels, so viewers can tune in through whichever platform they prefer.
Several major Warhammer games are confirmed to feature in the event. Space Marine 2, Darktide, Total War: Warhammer III, and Rogue Trader have all received substantial post-launch support since their releases, and their presence in the showcase suggests significant new updates are coming. The exact nature of those updates remains under wraps ahead of Thursday's reveal.
Three titles scheduled to launch this year will also get their moment: Boltgun 2, Warhammer Survivors, and Dark Heresy. Expect fresh trailers and gameplay details for each, with the possibility of demo announcements thrown in for good measure.
Beyond the confirmed lineup, organizers are hinting at surprise reveals that haven't been teased in advance. That element of unpredictability has become a trademark of the show and typically keeps the community buzzing long after the livestream wraps.
If you can't tune in live, the full broadcast will post to IGN's YouTube channel shortly after the event concludes, just as it did for last year's showcase.
Author Emily Chen: "This is still the easiest way to catch up on every corner of the Warhammer gaming ecosystem at once, and the 10th anniversary framing makes this year feel like it might actually have some meat on the bone."
