Star Wars Invades PowerWash Simulator 2 This Summer

PowerWash Simulator 2 is getting a Star Wars makeover. The studio behind the pressure-cleaning sensation has announced a dedicated DLC pack launching this summer across PC, PlayStation 5, Switch 2, and Xbox Series X/S, bringing six cleaning jobs set throughout the Star Wars universe.

Players will step into the grimy shoes of P0-W2, a labor droid designed specifically for the pack, armed with an exclusive power washer. The DLC weaves a narrative thread through the original Star Wars trilogy era, letting fans scrub down some of the franchise's most iconic locations.

An early trailer reveals the scope of the collaboration. The Lars Homestead on Tatooine gets a proper cleaning, while the interior of a Super Star Destroyer's bridge awaits the pressure treatment. Perhaps most intriguing is an X-Wing that appears to have spent considerable time submerged in a Dagobah swamp before hauling it out for restoration.

For FuturLab, the studio behind PowerWash Simulator, landing a Star Wars license represents the culmination of long-standing ambitions. During an earlier interview, studio leadership made their intentions clear: they wanted the Millennium Falcon. Whether that particular ship makes the final cut remains to be seen, though licensing manager Elliot Greenwood indicated the team made the pitch to Lucasfilm.

"Literally, in my interview for this role, James said, 'we want the Millennium Falcon, can you get it?'" Greenwood recalled. "I was like, 'I'll try my best'."

The Star Wars pack joins Adventure Time as confirmed collaborations for PowerWash Simulator 2, suggesting the franchise has shifted into a partnership strategy beyond its core cleaning gameplay. The developer is expected to reveal additional details about the DLC before its summer arrival.

Author Emily Chen: "The fact that FuturLab actually got Star Wars speaks volumes about how mainstream this series has become, but I'm genuinely curious whether the Millennium Falcon made the final roster."
