Bandai Namco pulled back the curtain on Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 at the Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour 2026 event in Los Angeles, confirming the long-awaited sequel is headed to PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. The reveal came with an official trailer showcasing the game's opening moments and setting.
Nearly ten years have passed since Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 arrived in 2016, leaving fans waiting in silence. The studio previously teased the project earlier this year under the working title Age 1000, which now functions as the name of the game's new world and primary setting.
The action-RPG will center on West City, described as a vibrant new world set in Age 1000. Players take on the role of a member of the Great Saiyan Squad, fighting alongside allies as new events unfold. The game promises an epic, story-driven campaign designed to deliver an action-packed journey through this fresh corner of the Dragon Ball universe.
Bandai Namco indicates more details will emerge in the coming months, leaving specifics about gameplay mechanics, roster size, and additional features still under wraps. The studio has not yet announced a release window.
Author Emily Chen: "A decade-long wait for a sequel is brutal, but at least fans finally have confirmation it's real and not vaporware."
