Sucker Punch's samurai epic gets the vinyl treatment. Ghost of Yotei's original soundtrack is headed to record shelves on June 12, with preorders now live at $49.98.
The release features a striking gold shimmer finish across four discs, paired with black and white cover art. Inside the gatefold jacket sits an exclusive illustration of the Yōtei Six, along with a 12-inch insert containing liner notes, credits, and additional artwork.
Composer Toma Otowa's score spans 24 tracks across the four vinyl sides. The lineup includes character themes for Atsu and Oyuki, environmental pieces like "The Wilds of Ezo" and "Oshima Coast," and dramatic moments such as "Night of the Burning Tree" and "Wrath of the Ghost."
The vinyl is available through Amazon and the IGN Store, among other retailers. Given demand for limited game soundtracks, securing a preorder now makes sense before stock runs thin.
Ghost of Yotei launched in October 2024 to solid critical reception. IGN's review praised its "gorgeous landscapes and satisfying, fluid action," though noted the story follows familiar samurai-tale beats.
Author Emily Chen: "Gold shimmer vinyl of a game soundtrack this polished deserves shelf space, and at fifty bucks it's a solid collector's grab before it inevitably sells out."
