OneTaste Co-Founder Sentenced to Nine Years for Coercing Women Into Sex Acts

Nicole Daedone, who co-founded the wellness company OneTaste Inc, was sentenced to nine years in federal prison after being convicted of orchestrating a scheme that exploited and coerced women into performing sexual acts with company clients and investors.

A federal judge determined that Daedone's operation targeted vulnerable women and systematized their abuse through a practice the company marketed as "orgasmic meditation." The conviction marks a significant outcome in a case that exposed the inner workings of what prosecutors described as a coercive operation hidden behind wellness branding.

In addition to her prison sentence, Daedone was ordered to forfeit $12 million. Seven women who were victimized through the scheme received approximately $890,000 in court-ordered restitution, according to federal prosecutors.

The case underscores how exploitation can operate within companies that market themselves as focused on women's health and empowerment. OneTaste promoted its practices to wealthy clients and investors, creating a financial incentive structure that law enforcement said directly enabled the abuse of participants.

Daedone's conviction represents one of the more substantial sentences in recent cases involving alleged sexual exploitation through corporate structures and wellness frameworks. The restitution awarded to victims, though modest relative to the harm described, provides some financial acknowledgment of the women's experiences.
