A new psychological horror game is coming to PC that trades jump scares for the slow dread of uncovering a mystery that doesn't quite add up. Rehaunted puts you inside a disturbing house as Connor Raines, a detective tasked with piecing together evidence that grows increasingly wrong the deeper you dig.
The game plays as a first-person investigation experience where you'll examine blood traces, fingerprints, hidden recordings, and personal belongings scattered throughout the location. Rather than solving a straightforward case, you'll discover that every clue seems off in ways you can't immediately explain, pulling you toward a revelation the developers are keeping under wraps for now.
You won't work entirely alone. Radio contact with another detective keeps you connected as you progress, allowing you to share discoveries and work through the puzzle together in real time. That partner dynamic serves as your lifeline while navigating the unsettling atmosphere of the house.
Your investigation toolkit includes UV equipment, a camera, a magnifying glass that gets prominent screen time in the newly released trailer, and an evidence board where you can organize findings and spot connections. These tools feel deliberately chosen to emphasize the detective work over action or combat, keeping the focus on unraveling what actually happened in this place.
The first trailer and screenshots are now available for viewing. If the concept hooks you, Rehaunted is available to wishlist on Steam ahead of its eventual release.
Author Emily Chen: "Psychological horror built on the dread of investigation rather than shock value is a format that works, and Rehaunted's commitment to that tension through radio partnership and deliberately wrong clues could make this one worth watching."
