Rockstar Drops 60+ GTA 6 Screenshots as Preorders Open Tonight

Rockstar Games is pulling back the curtain on Grand Theft Auto 6 with a massive dump of over 60 new screenshots, revealing character customization options, exclusive content, and the game's long-awaited pricing structure ahead of preorder launch.

The studio confirmed that standard GTA 6 will retail for $80, while the Ultimate Edition carries a $100 price tag. Preorders open at midnight tonight, with physical copies available through standard retailers, though buyers should note that disc versions will not include an actual disc.

The screenshot gallery showcases what separates the pricier Ultimate Edition from the base game. Players can expect exclusive vehicles like the classic Vice City '55 Vapid Stanier, access to the Shore Court personal garage, dedicated car mod shops, and unique open-world activities. The images also detail expanded customization for the game's protagonists Jason and Lucia, including additional outfits, hairstyles, makeup options, tattoos, and custom nail designs for Lucia, alongside exclusive weapon patterns.

Rockstar is sweetening the pot for early adopters with the Vintage Vice City Pack, available to anyone who purchases before November 20 (or while physical stocks last). The pack draws heavy inspiration from the neon-soaked 1980s aesthetic with retro-inspired clothing and additional hairstyles, tapping into nostalgia for the franchise's iconic Vice City setting.

The screenshots reveal the game's world and character depth, but key questions remain unanswered. Rockstar has not yet detailed when the new GTA Online will launch, how it will be priced, or what happens to the existing GTA Online experience tied to GTA 5. Those answers will likely come before the game's November 19 release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.

Author Emily Chen: "The Ultimate Edition's à la carte approach to cosmetics and exclusive activities feels designed to justify the twenty-dollar bump, though whether that extras package lands with players won't be clear until launch."
