Persona 4 Revival finally has a release window, and fans can lock in their copy now. The remake, developed by Atlus, launches February 18, 2025, with preorders already live across multiple retailers and five distinct versions of the game available.
The Standard Edition sits at $69.99 and covers all platforms: PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC. Players selecting this tier get the base game plus an exclusive preorder bonus that comes with every version regardless of edition.
Budget-conscious shoppers can find slightly better deals on PC. Fanatical is currently offering the Standard Edition at $60.89 for Steam, a 13 percent discount from the usual price.
Amazon is offering an exclusive physical variant priced at $69.99 for both PS5 and Xbox Series X that includes four double-sided character cards in addition to the standard contents.
The Digital Deluxe Edition jumps to $84.99 and layers in cosmetic extras across multiple games in the Persona franchise. The package includes a Velvet Outfit Set, two Persona 3 Reload persona collections, two Persona 5 Royal persona collections, and background music sets from both titles. PC players at Fanatical get this edition for $73.94.
For those willing to spend more, the Digital Premium Edition costs $99.99 and consolidates nearly everything offered in the Deluxe tier while adding S.E.E.S. Uniform Set and Phantom Thieves Costume Set options. Again, Fanatical discounts the PC version to $86.99.
The Collector's Edition marks the premium tier at $249.99, targeting serious franchise devotees. This package ships with a protagonist and Izanagi statue, a steelbook case, artbook, keycaps and keychain, and a collector's box. The physical edition includes all the cosmetic DLC bundled in the Digital Premium Edition.
Every preorder, regardless of edition, unlocks the Persona 3 Reload and Persona 5 Royal Extra BGM Set immediately upon purchase.
Persona 4 Revival represents a full remake of the original 2008 title, rebuilt from the ground up with modern visuals, user interface refinements, overhauled battle systems, and reimagined story events. Atlus describes the project as designed to welcome newcomers while offering enough fresh elements to feel novel for players who completed the original game.
The game was first teased last year but lacked a confirmed launch date until this summer's Xbox Games Showcase. That same event also confirmed Persona 6 is in development, though that title remains further down the pipeline.
Author Emily Chen: "Five editions is a lot of choice, but the real question is whether you're buying for the game itself or the collectible package, because that $249.99 statue might sit on a shelf longer than you actually play the remake."
