Fans of the iconic adventurer can now lock in their copy of Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis ahead of its February 12 launch. The remake, which reimagines the 1996 original with Unreal Engine 5 technology, opened preorders following its reveal during PlayStation's June State of Play showcase.
The game is available in three distinct editions, each targeting different levels of collector enthusiasm and priced accordingly. Standard copies run $59.99, while the Deluxe Edition costs $69.99, and the full Collector's Edition sits at $199.99. All versions come with a Survivor Outfit preorder bonus drawn from the 2013 Tomb Raider reboot.
Standard Edition buyers get the base game in either physical or digital formats across PS5, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam. Physical copies for Switch arrive as Game-Key Cards requiring a download to play. The $59.99 price point applies uniformly across all platforms.
Stepping up to the Deluxe Edition adds a Parisian Fugitive Outfit for Lara and a DLC Story Pack, along with 48-hour early access to the full game. This mid-tier option lands at $69.99 and carries the same multiplatform availability as the Standard version.
The Collector's Edition represents the premium offering at $199.99. Beyond the game itself, buyers receive a premium steel case, a Croft Signet Pin, a Triumvirate Talisman Keychain, a mini art book, and a Lara Croft vs. The T-Rex statue. It also includes both the Parisian Fugitive Outfit and DLC Story Pack from the Deluxe tier, plus the same 48-hour early launch access.
Preorders are currently available through major retailers including Best Buy, GameStop, PlayStation Store, Xbox, and Steam, though not all editions have appeared at every outlet yet. The Collector's Edition PS5 version shows as coming soon at Best Buy, suggesting wider retail expansion may still be rolling out.
According to Amazon Game Studios leadership, the remake transforms the original adventure by expanding every environment with modern visuals and an updated gameplay approach. The studio emphasized that exploration, combat, and puzzle design have been modernized while maintaining the atmosphere that defined Lara's 1996 debut.
Author Emily Chen: "Three editions at three different price points gives collectors real choice, but the staggered retail rollout suggests stock scarcity could become an issue before February."
