Mechano's Olympus Rangers Creature Battler Arrives on PC With Massive Mod Support

Mechano and publisher Jandusoft have unveiled Olympus Rangers, a new creature battler heading to PC that puts team customization and player-created content at its core.

The game lets players build squads from over 60 creatures called Olys, then tweak everything from avatars and battle stages to moves and rules themselves. Once you craft your custom setup, you can upload it directly to Steam Workshop so the community can download and play with your creations.

Combat relies on a detailed database that tracks units, moves, abilities, and modifiers, giving players the tools to study matchups and layer strategy before jumping into battle. The game supports both 2D sprite and 3D visual styles, so players can choose their preferred aesthetic.

Multiplayer comes in multiple flavors. You can challenge friends online or sit down for local battles, bringing your fully customized teams into head-to-head competition. The cross-platform mod support means any creation you design can be shared and played across the entire Steam community, opening up endless possibilities for house rules, balance tweaks, and entirely new battle scenarios.

Olympus Rangers is currently available to wishlist on Steam ahead of its full release.

Author Emily Chen: "This is exactly the kind of creature battler that thrives on player creativity, and handing modding tools directly to the community from launch could make it stick around far longer than the standard formula allows."
