Black Flag Resynced Prices Leak: $200 Collector's Edition With Edward Statue

Ubisoft's pricing structure for the upcoming Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced has surfaced online ahead of the company's official reveal. The remake will launch July 9 at $59.99 for a standard physical edition, with a premium Collector's Edition priced at $199.99.

The Collector's Edition centers on a large statue of protagonist Edward Kenway seated atop a treasure chest and wielding the iconic black flag. Additional physical contents include a map, notebook, and Steelbook case. Players will also receive in-game bonuses: multiple costume options for Edward, customization items for his ship the Jackdaw, and a ship's cat cosmetic pet.

European pricing has been confirmed as well. The standard edition runs EUR 59.99 and GBP 49.99, while the Collector's Edition costs EUR 199.99 and GBP 174.99.

The leak arrives from billbil-kun on Dealabs, a source with a track record of accurate gaming industry information. The reveal is particularly notable given how extensively Black Flag Resynced's details have already surfaced through various channels this year, including an earlier appearance of the Edward statue on clothing resale platform Vinted.

Ubisoft plans to formally announce the game later today through the Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced Worldwide Reveal Showcase, scheduled for 9am Pacific, 12pm Eastern, and 5pm UK time on April 23. The official presentation should provide clarity on the remake's full scope and feature set.

Prior reporting indicates Black Flag Resynced represents a substantial overhaul of the 2013 pirate adventure, with visual and mechanical improvements aligned to the quality standard of last year's Assassin's Creed Shadows. The remake will introduce new story content exploring Edward's background more deeply. One significant change from the original involves removing the modern-day narrative sequences, a decision that has already drawn criticism from franchise fans who valued that storytelling layer.

Author Emily Chen: "A $200 statue-focused collector's edition feels right for a game this beloved, though removing the modern-day story is a risky gamble that could alienate longtime players."
