The Pokémon Trading Card Game is flooding shelves this month with fresh inventory and new collectibles from the Mega Evolution: Ascended Heroes set. Two major releases hit on April 24, 2026, giving players multiple ways to chase rare cards and boost their collections.
The first product is the Ascended Heroes Booster Bundle, priced at $23.94 through the official Pokémon Center. Each bundle includes six booster packs with 10 cards per pack, plus a Basic Energy and a Pokémon TCG Live code. The set features new Trainers' Pokémon and Stellar Tera Pokémon ex, alongside returning and newly discovered Mega Evolution Pokémon ex. Illustration rares and special rare cards round out the pull list.
Demand for Ascended Heroes has been intense enough that finding stock at retail price may require speed. Third-party resellers like TCGPlayer have listings available, though prices run significantly higher than MSRP, currently around $102.95 plus shipping. The Pokémon Center does not yet have preorders live, so checking back frequently is advisable.
The second wave consists of three Mega ex Boxes, each centered on one of three new Mega Evolutions tied to Pokémon Legends: Z-A's starter Pokémon: Mega Meganium ex, Mega Emboar ex, and Mega Feraligatr ex. Each box includes a foil promo card, an oversize lenticular promo, and four booster packs from Ascended Heroes.
The artwork on these foil promos draws inspiration from the classic M Pokémon-EX cards from the XY era, with sharp energy lines radiating outward. The cards are competitive-ready too. Mega Meganium ex unleashes Giant Bouquet for heavy damage, Mega Emboar ex delivers Crimson Blast firepower, and Mega Feraligatr ex uses Mortal Crunch to target weakened opponents. Each attack synergizes with existing cards in their evolution lines.
Amazon has already restocked preorders for the Mega ex Boxes at $36.99 each. However, buyers cannot select which starter they receive, making these boxes a blind pull. The oversized lenticular card inside is a nice bonus, though collectors often struggle to display pieces that large in standard binders.
Both products aim to ease the supply crunch that has plagued Ascended Heroes since launch. Whether you're hunting foils, building competitive decks, or filling gaps in your collection, April offers serious opportunity to stock up before the set dries up again.
