Sonic Sale Bonanza Hits Amazon as Sega Kicks Off 35th Anniversary Blitz

Sega isn't waiting until June to celebrate Sonic's 35th birthday. The company has launched "Forever Fast," a year-long anniversary campaign that began with a sprawling Amazon sale featuring games, movies, and comics across multiple platforms.

The deals are extensive, but not all are created equal. The real standouts sit on Woot, Amazon's discount-focused sister site, where two games in particular demand attention.

Sonic X Shadow Generations has dropped to $12.99 on PS5, Switch, and Xbox. The title's Shadow campaign delivers some of the franchise's best gameplay in years, making it an easy recommend at that price. Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, the critically acclaimed latest racer, sits at $29.99 on Switch, with a $10 upgrade available for the Switch 2 version.

Movie fans have options too. All three live-action Sonic films are discounted on Amazon. The Sonic The Hedgehog 2 Steelbook 4K Blu-ray dropped from $25.99 to $17.14. Sonic 3 is $19.99, while the original film runs $12.59 on 4K or $9.09 for the Limited Collector's Edition on Blu-ray, which bundles physical media with mini posters and a digital download code.

Comic readers should grab the IDW Sonic the Hedgehog collection volumes 1-3 for $26.92. Hardcover editions are seeing steep cuts as well. Sonic the Hedgehog Vol. 21: Reprise is available for preorder at $15.83 ahead of its April 21 release, while Vol. 20 sits at $13.93.

The breadth of the sale reflects Sega's commitment to keeping momentum around the character through 2026, using deep discounts to pull fans across gaming, collectibles, and home video.
