Dark Horse has opened preorders for a deluxe edition art book dedicated to The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. The hardcover Hero's Edition is available now on Amazon for $107.64, a discount from its standard price of $119.99, ahead of its October 20 release.
The 472-page volume measures 12 by 9 inches and delivers behind-the-scenes material from Nintendo's development process. Inside are concept art, storyboards, developer commentary, and exclusive interviews with key figures including producer Eiji Aonuma and director Hidemaro Fujibayashi.
The Hero's Edition bundles several exclusive items alongside the full book content. Buyers receive an alternate cover design, a cloth map of the Depths, an art print featuring Link and the Sages, and a replica of the Secret Stone of Time artifact from the game. A standard edition of the book will retail for $59.99 without these additions.
The release marks the latest in Dark Horse's ongoing partnership with Nintendo to produce comprehensive Zelda reference materials. The publisher's previous encyclopedic works include Hyrule Historia, which documents the franchise's history and official timeline; Art & Artifacts, focusing on item and character design; and the Encyclopedia, which explores lore and conceptual development across the series.
